PUBLIC CONSULTATION INVITE: RENEWAL OF KAYHIL FREIGHT’S LICENCE
The Lesotho Communications Authority informs the public that it has received an application for renewal of Courier Postal Licence Tier 1 from Mr Delivery (PTY) LTD trading as Kayhil Freight operating as a commercial postal service provider.
The licence authorises Kayhil Freight to provide courier and express parcel (CEP) services in Lesotho generated by individual consumers, small and medium enterprises (SME) and any other customer (including multinational companies) as well as government institutions. The duration of the licence, upon renewal, will be fifteen (15) years, from the date of issuance of the licence.
Acting in terms of Section 4 (j) of the Communications Act No. 4 of 2012 read with rule 3 (8) of the Lesotho Communications Authority (Administrative) Rules No. 77 of 2016, the Authority hereby invites comments from the general public and industry stakeholders in respect of the application for licence renewal by Kayhil Freight.
