VACANCY: HUMAN RESOURCES AND RENUMERATION COMMITTEE EXPERT
Lesotho Communications Authority (LCA) is established in terms of Communications Act No. 4 of 2012(Act) as a regulatory body for the communications sector. The Authority is constituted by seven Board Members. The Board is empowered to establish such committees as it deems necessary to assist it in the execution of its duties, powers and authority, and shall further appoint an Independent Expert to its Committees.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of an Independent Expert to Human Resources & Remuneration Committee (HRRC).
JOB SUMMARY
In consultation with the Chairman of HRRC and other Members of the Committee, provide technical expertise to the Committee on development and implementation of appropriate human resources and remuneration strategies and policies, the code of conduct and adherence to principles of good corporate governance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Applicants should possess knowledge and experience in Boardroom practice and a master’s degree in human resources management with 5 years’ experience at executive management.
ELIGIBILITY
The position is open to Basotho nationals with the necessary qualifications and relevant experience but who do not have any direct commercial interest in the communications sector.
N.B.
This is an independent non-executive position, and it attracts a sitting allowance for each meeting attended.
