PUBLIC CONSULTATION NOTICE
The Lesotho Communications Authority informs the public that it has received an application for Network Services Licence, under the category of Internet Service Provider (ISP) from LEC Communications (Pty) Ltd. A Network Services Licence under this category authorizes the holder to provide internet services to end users and to own infrastructure. The duration of the licence, if approved, will be twenty (20) years from date of issuance of the licence.
Acting in terms of Section 4 (j) of the Communications Act No. 4 of 2012, the Authority hereby invites comments from the general public and industry stakeholders in respect of the above-mentioned application. Interested parties are invited to submit their comments in writing, clearly indicating their support or opposition to the application, and providing reasons in support of their position. Submissions should include name and contact details of the person or organization submitting the comment.
