PUBLIC CONSULTATION NOTICE: PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO THE LICENSING CLASSIFICATION AND FEES RULES OF 2023
Pursuant to sections 5(1)(c) and 15(1)(a) of the Communications Act No. 4 of 2012, the Lesotho Communications Authority intends to amend the Lesotho Communications Authority (Licensing Classification and Fees) Rules No. 33 of 2023. The aim of the amendment is, among others, to incorporate licensing of satellite communication networks and to rectify inadvertent omissions, errors and ambiguities that existed in the current Licensing Classification and Fees Rules of 2023.
Therefore, acting in terms of Section 4 (j) of the Communications Act No. 4 of 2012, the Authority hereby invites comments from the general public and industry stakeholders in respect of the proposed amendment.
